We came for a weekend and left on Tuesday. The room was warm, the scones were unreal, and the walk they sent us on had the whole Mossy Forest to ourselves. It is the small-place feeling you cannot fake.

Check-in, cancellations and the small print
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out by 11am. Coming from KL and arriving early? Leave your bags with reception, take an afternoon tea on the verandah and start walking.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival for a full refund. Within 7 days we hold the first night; within 48 hours the full stay is charged. Book direct and we will always try to move your dates first.
Is the food halal? Can you cater for dietary needs?
Yes — the kitchen is fully halal, no alcohol is used in cooking, and breakfast and the set dinner both have a vegetarian option. Tell us about allergies or other needs when you book and we will sort it.
Is Ferngrove suitable for families and children?
Very. Ridge Cottage and the Garden Suite sleep families of four to five, cots and highchairs are free, and the shorter trails suit small legs. There is no lift, and the main house has stairs.
Do you arrange airport transfers?
We arrange a private car from Ipoh (about 90 minutes) or from Kuala Lumpur (about 3.5 hours) on request, charged at cost. There is free parking on site if you drive up yourself.
How do I actually book?
Message us on WhatsApp or send an enquiry with your dates, party size and room preference. We reply within a few hours, hold the room for 24 hours and take a one-night deposit to confirm.
