Four practices, one standard

The disciplines Malaysian founders, boards and family businesses retain us for — each led by a partner, staffed to the work.

What we do

Four practices, one standard of judgement

Every engagement is led by a partner and staffed to the work — never the other way around. These are the disciplines our clients retain us for.

How we work

What a first engagement looks like

No lengthy onboarding, no junior hand-offs. From the first call to the final review, a partner owns the relationship.

  1. 01

    Discovery call

A confidential conversation to understand the business, the pressure and the outcome you need. No charge, no obligation.

  2. 02

    Scope & engagement letter

A fixed scope, a named partner and a fee quoted up front — so there are no surprises on either side.

  3. 03

    Fieldwork & analysis

We do the work: the audit, the computation, the diligence. You get a single point of contact and weekly progress.

  4. 04

    Findings & recommendations

Plain-language findings and options — what we found, what it means and what we would do about it.

  5. 05

    Implementation & review

We help you act on the advice, then check back. Most clients stay with us for years, not one engagement.

Before you call

Fees, engagement and confidentiality

How are your fees structured?

For defined work — an audit, a tax computation, a valuation — we quote a fixed fee up front in the engagement letter. For ongoing advisory we agree a monthly retainer or an hourly rate by seniority. You will never receive an invoice you did not expect.

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. The discovery call is a confidential, no-obligation conversation so both sides can decide whether we are the right firm for the work. We only send an engagement letter once the scope is clear.

How do you handle confidentiality?

Every partner and staff member is bound by the MIA by-laws on confidentiality, and we sign a mutual NDA on request. Your records, your data room and the fact of our engagement are treated as privileged.

Are you registered to sign audits?

Yes. We are a firm of Chartered Accountants registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and hold an audit licence, with a quality management system compliant with ISQM 1.

Do you work with businesses outside Kuala Lumpur?

We serve clients nationwide from our KL and Penang offices, and much of the work — reviews, planning meetings, board sessions — happens remotely. For fieldwork we come to you.

Can you take over from our current accountant?

Routinely. We manage the professional clearance and the handover of records so the transition is clean, and we make sure nothing falls through the gap between the two firms.
