What we do
Four practices, one standard of judgement
Every engagement is led by a partner and staffed to the work — never the other way around. These are the disciplines our clients retain us for.

Corporate & Transaction Advisory
From the first term sheet to completion accounts, we guide founders and boards through mergers, acquisitions, fund-raising and group restructuring — with due diligence you can defend and valuations that stand up to scrutiny.
- Buy-side & sell-side due diligence
- Business & share valuations
- Group restructuring & succession

Tax & Compliance
Corporate tax, SST, transfer pricing and the move to e-Invoicing — handled by specialists who file thousands of returns a year and speak to LHDN so you do not have to. We plan the position before we file it.
- Corporate tax & tax computations
- Transfer pricing documentation
- e-Invoicing & SST readiness

Audit & Assurance
Statutory audits conducted under ISQM 1, delivered on time and free of surprises. We audit to give directors comfort and lenders confidence — and we tell you what we find in plain language, early.
- Statutory & group audits
- Agreed-upon procedures
- Grant & regulatory certification

Risk, Governance & Internal Controls
Boards answer for more than they used to. We build the internal audit function, test the controls and write the governance frameworks that keep a growing company — and its directors — out of trouble.
- Internal audit & controls review
- Enterprise risk frameworks
- Board & governance advisory
How we work
What a first engagement looks like
No lengthy onboarding, no junior hand-offs. From the first call to the final review, a partner owns the relationship.
- 01
Discovery call
A confidential conversation to understand the business, the pressure and the outcome you need. No charge, no obligation.
- 02
Scope & engagement letter
A fixed scope, a named partner and a fee quoted up front — so there are no surprises on either side.
- 03
Fieldwork & analysis
We do the work: the audit, the computation, the diligence. You get a single point of contact and weekly progress.
- 04
Findings & recommendations
Plain-language findings and options — what we found, what it means and what we would do about it.
- 05
Implementation & review
We help you act on the advice, then check back. Most clients stay with us for years, not one engagement.
By the numbers
Two decades of judgement, measured
“They told us what we needed to hear, not what was easy — and the deal was better for it.”
Group CFO, listed manufacturer
Registered with the MIA and CTIM; audits under ISQM 1.
In their words
The clients who keep us on retainer
Evergreen restructured our group ahead of the fund-raise and the diligence was spotless. Our investors said it was the cleanest data room they had seen from a Malaysian SME.
Lim Cheng Hoe
Managing Director, Horizon Foods Sdn Bhd
Tax season used to be a scramble. Now it is a review meeting. They plan the position months ahead and there are never any surprises with LHDN.
Sarah Abdullah
Finance Director, Klang Valley Logistics
Their audit partner sat with our board and explained the numbers in language everyone understood. That is rarer than it should be.
Datuk Rajendran M.
Independent Chairman, PLC, Bursa Main Market
We brought them in to build our internal audit function from nothing. Eighteen months on, our lenders treat us differently.
Wong Mei Ling
Group CFO, Seri Bina Construction
A family business is a delicate thing to hand over. They guided our succession with patience and discretion, and kept the peace.
Haji Zulkifli Osman
Founder, Zul Group of Companies
Responsive, precise and genuinely commercial. They think like owners, not just accountants.
Priya Nair
Chief Executive, Nexa Digital
The people you retain
Partners, not proposals
In professional services the people are the product. These are the partners and directors who will actually run your engagement.
Our team profiles are being updated.
Before you call
Fees, engagement and confidentiality
How are your fees structured?
For defined work — an audit, a tax computation, a valuation — we quote a fixed fee up front in the engagement letter. For ongoing advisory we agree a monthly retainer or an hourly rate by seniority. You will never receive an invoice you did not expect.
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes. The discovery call is a confidential, no-obligation conversation so both sides can decide whether we are the right firm for the work. We only send an engagement letter once the scope is clear.
How do you handle confidentiality?
Every partner and staff member is bound by the MIA by-laws on confidentiality, and we sign a mutual NDA on request. Your records, your data room and the fact of our engagement are treated as privileged.
Are you registered to sign audits?
Yes. We are a firm of Chartered Accountants registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and hold an audit licence, with a quality management system compliant with ISQM 1.
Do you work with businesses outside Kuala Lumpur?
We serve clients nationwide from our KL and Penang offices, and much of the work — reviews, planning meetings, board sessions — happens remotely. For fieldwork we come to you.
Can you take over from our current accountant?
Routinely. We manage the professional clearance and the handover of records so the transition is clean, and we make sure nothing falls through the gap between the two firms.
